It's Back Next Week! Music Monday: Live Stream Lessons from Rocksteady

Thanks to so many of you for tuning in with the children to the first Music Monday Live Streams for Rocksteady schools – we heard some schools were streaming the lesson to all classrooms at once! Shout out requests came in thick and fast and we ran out of time for them all so Band Leader, Paul, will kick off with those we missed next time.
Lesson format
The lesson is designed so your school can provide musical learning and wellbeing benefits for the rest of this term and will take place on Monday 13 and 20 July from 1.30-2pm.
Not only are the Live Streams a perfect way to put a smile on the faces of your children but they also contain a number of elements of the music curriculum, including rhythm, melodies, listening skills, learning about instruments and how they work and sound together. There are performances by Paul, with options for children to get involved by clapping, movement and body percussion throughout.

- For a bit of extra fun, as well as any requests for your school or class to get a mention, this week we are looking for music related jokes so if you know any please send them along with your shout out request and Paul will read out the best ones and give your school a name check!
