Music
To start our Ape to Man topic, we created music using natural resources outside.
Fossil Making
As part of our Ape to Man unit, we made fossils linking to science. We took photos ourselves to evidence the steps and then wrote our own instructions.
Friendships
Learning to work together and following our school rule ‘to be kind, respectful and thoughtful’ is part of being at Barnwood. We wrote positive comments about our friends to brighten their day and then we took these home to remind ourselves how brilliant we are.
Moth Man Visit
We were very lucky to have a visitor who came into school to explain the evolution and adaptation of moths. We observed caterpillars and moths and learnt lots of interesting vocabulary.
