Who are we and what are we like?
Welcome to Barnwood Church of England Primary School. We are a one form entry Church of England Voluntary Aided Primary School, for children from 4-11 years of age.
At Barnwood we are proud of the warm and happy atmosphere which is evident throughout the school. We aim to provide the highest possible quality of education for all of our pupils and to do this within a warm and caring environment, which is grounded in our Christian values and ethos.
We believe that the key to our success is the high quality of relationships which exist between all members of our school family, our childrens enjoyment of their learning and our well planned curriculum. At Barnwood our vision is to 'Love your Neighbour' and to work together to be the best we can be for the good of all - all that we do is driven by this vision.

School Closure
Should the school need to close due to an emergency, such as adverse weather, local radio stations will be notified of the closure and parents will be informed with a text. The closure will also be notified on the school website and the Local Authority website https://www.gloucestershire.gov.uk/closures/.
