To ensure that school places are allocated fairly we have a formal admissions policy. If you wish your child to be admitted to Barnwood Church of England Primary School, you are invited to place your child's name on the school's admissions list.

As the admissions authority, the governors are responsible for admitting children to the school. When the number of applications for places exceeds the standard number of 30, priority will be given in accordance with the criteria in the admissions policy. A copy of the current admissions policy can be obtained from the school office. Unsuccessful applicants will be advised of their right to appeal. Details of the appeal procedure are available from the Headteacher.
