Children may choose to eat a school dinner, prepared on the premises by our in-house Barnwood Kitchen catering team, or they may bring a packed lunch from home.

School dinners

School dinners cost £2.65 each day, this includes a main course and a dessert.  We ask that meals are paid online via ParentPay in advance:  www.parentpay.co.uk .

Hot lunch orders are taken during morning registration on the day before.

Packed lunches

Packed lunches should be brought to school in a box or bag which is easy to carry.  There are many suitable boxes and bags available in shops, but please remember to clearly label your child’s container with his/ her name on the outside.

We encourage our pupils to be aware of healthy foods and ask you to bear this in mind when preparing your child’s lunch box. e.g. fizzy drinks, peanut / nut products and sweets are not allowed.  Crisps and chocolate are discouraged.

We expect children to have good table manners.
